Why Athos™ uniPACK

Packaging and identifying every dose by hand is slow and leaves room for error

Preparing unit-dose packaging is a painstaking process. Done by hand, it takes up pharmacy staff time and increases the risk of error.

What it automates

Heat-seal packaging

Solid oral dosage forms in preformed paper tape, produced to a validated process, with precut lines.

1D and 2D code printing

With pictograms and a range of font styles.

Electronic control

Computer with a touchscreen and an integrated barcode reader.

Automatic hopper

For packaging bulk medication, ampules and vials.

How it works

From original pack to unit dose, identified and sealed

The whole process is electronically controlled from the system's touchscreen.
