Pick several orders at once without walking the storeroom
A basket carousel that rotates horizontally and brings each medication to the picking station. The screen shows what to pick, and the sorting table shows which order it goes into.
Why horizontal
Medication comes to the station, not the other way around
In a conventional storeroom, every order line means walking between shelves and searching for the item. The horizontal carousel eliminates the aisles and centralizes picking at a single fixed station: the same floor space holds more, and orders are picked faster.
How it works
One pick, several orders filled
You pick what several nursing units need in one go, and the sorting table shows how much goes into each order.
Each bin is an order. The light shows how many units to place in each one.
What it delivers
Fewer errors and more orders per hour
Integrated with your hospital pharmacy
It receives nursing unit orders and catalog changes from the management application, and sends back the quantities actually filled.
Several orders at once
You pick orders for different units in parallel from a single station, guided by the sorting table.
Restock without pausing picking
Stock can go in and out at the same time, and the inventory updates with every movement.
Paperless and easy to use
The whole process is digital and guided by screen and light, so no specialized staff is needed.
Installations
How it works in real hospital pharmacies
The carousel occupies the storeroom's floor area, and the picking station sits next to the area where nursing unit orders are prepared.
Specifications

Frequently asked questions
What hospital pharmacies ask us
Have more height than floor space?
The vertical carousel makes use of the room's height, with the same screen and light guidance.
Discover the Athos™ Storage vertical carouselWhat is the difference between the horizontal and the vertical carousel?
The horizontal model uses the floor area and is designed for picking many orders from a fixed station. The vertical model uses the room's height when floor space is short. Both guide every pick with screen and light to prevent dispensing errors.
How many orders can I pick at once?
Several. The sorting table assigns a bin to each order, and its display shows how many units to place in each one. The number of stations and bins is configured to suit your workload.
What productivity can I expect?
Between 350 and 600 lines per operator per hour, compared with around 60 in a conventional system, where the operator has to go to the product.
Does it integrate with our hospital pharmacy software?
Yes. It receives nursing unit orders, stock receipts and catalog changes from the management application, and sends back the quantities actually filled so that consumption is reconciled correctly.
Do I need specialized staff?
No. The screen and light signals guide every step, so the hospital pharmacy team can work with the carousel without specialized training.
How many orders does your hospital pharmacy fill each day?
Tell us how your hospital pharmacy works and we will propose how many carousels you need and how to set up the picking station.
