Each patient, their own compartment. Each dose, validated

Frequently asked questions

What nursing units ask us

ADC

No ADC on the unit yet?

Athos™ Dosys is the cabinet that dispenses medication to the cart, patient by patient.

Discover Athos™ Dosys
How does the cart know which compartment to open?

When the nursing unit's ADC dispenses the medication, each patient is automatically assigned to a compartment. When their ID wristband is scanned at the bedside, only that compartment opens.

What is checked before administration?

The screen shows the patient's administration record to confirm that the patient, medication, time, route and dose are correct before administration.

How long does the battery last?

The computer runs on three hot-swappable batteries that provide up to 24 hours of battery life. They can be changed without shutting down the computer.

Does it fit through patient room doors?

Yes. Its compact size and lightweight aluminum and polymer frame make it easy to get into patient rooms, and the Ø125 mm twin-wheel casters are quiet and easy to maneuver.

Does it integrate with our systems?

Yes. It works integrated with the nursing unit's ADC and with real-time electronic prescribing, so the administration record you see on the cart is always up to date.
