Fraternidad Muprespa has entrusted APD with the supply and maintenance of a comprehensive next-generation medication dispensing solution for its new Paseo de la Habana Hospital in Madrid.

The solution designed by APD includes a Vertical Carousel, four Automatic Dispensing Cabinets (or “ADC”) and all the necessary Software for the correct management of the entire system including the integrations with the existing corporate systems in the Hospital, a tailor-made training program for the Hospital staff and the guarantee and maintenance services of all the systems.

This new Hospital plans to open its doors during the 2Q of 2019 and will be mainly dedicated to the health care of work accidents of employees in associated companies as well as of self-employed workers.

It will have a total of 50 individual rooms, a surgical unit with three integrated operating rooms and 16 external consultations. Endowed with the most advanced technological and diagnostic resources, it is a hospital center designed for and by the patient, at the same time it will be the first LEED Healthcare Hospital in Europe and the 4th around the world.
