The APD Security and Defense Division carries out the Modernization of the Rescue Coordination Centers (RCC) of the Spanish Air Force.

APD has been awarded a major communications project by the Spanish Ministry of Defense.

The Company will be entrusted with the task of designing, developing and implementing a new Rescue Management and Coordination System in the Centers of Madrid and the Canary Islands that will allow the Search and Rescue Service (SAR) of the Air Force to plan, coordinate and manage the missions that occur within the Spanish airspace.

In this ambitious project, APD will install new voice communication, and mission planning and coordination systems, based on its own tailor-made software. APD will also equip both Centers with the most advanced tools, including hardware and ergonomic furniture, to allow operators to optimize the execution and response time, as well as the management of the resources used in the different rescue missions.
